In Dramatica Fourth Edition, Feb 2001, the explanations about the Archetypal Pattern end abruptly at page 67, without providing the mapping of the Archetypal Pattern onto the Purpose and Evaluation Sets, except the elusive hint that the Protagonist will Evaluate by Effect, and achieve an Actuality Purpose.
Is the complete and coherent Mapping of Archetypal Pattern on the 64 Elements anywhere to be found ?
I’m… not sure this is the answer to your question, but I’ve always used the one-to-one parallel mapping from page 27 here. So the top left corners are Protagonist (Knowledge, Actuality; Proven, Effect; Consider, Pursue; Certainty, Proaction), the bottom right corners are Antagonist (Thought, Perception; Unproven, Cause; Reconsider, Avoid; Potentiality, Reaction), and so on.
