Creating an argument

Jim, you advise to list all the pros as to why a certain approach is better, then list why another is worse. Should we only list the opposite to the pro suggestions, or if we can think of others that have not been considered in the pros, can we illustrate them in our story?

The important part is that the two opposing sides create some sort of inequity - as if they can’t exist in the same place at the same time. So yes, you can illustrate them.

I hope there will be more articles on steps to take an argument and turn it into something. I like those and I’m sure others would appreciate more step-by-step, er, steps.

Sorry about that. I realize I was on a roll and was leading up to something–and will eventually get back to it. But right now I’m in the middle of building something quite spectacular.

As soon as I’m finished, I’ll circle around and finish that series off.
