I read on Jims website his article about “A Way To Generate Thousands Of Gists”. As I would like to create a complete gist set in german is there any way to create it outside of dramatica and import the file? Or do I have to do really gist by gist?
Not really. Unless you take the time to learn XML and the really strange format they used for the Gists. It’s taking me quite awhile. Right now, gist by gist is the best.
XML is ok as I am working in IT. I was hoping there was an easier way with a tool like import from excel. I had a look at the xml file but each record uses an ID (86 for Acceptance). So I would have to create 1 file with all elements, types and variations to read-out the IDs first. And there is something else (63592108678) which looks like a checksum or similar. So things are not so easy. If I don’t keep writing and need something to procrastinate I might give it a try … but since I use Dramatica I can actually not complain about my word count.
