Question on character elements in scene

In the final part of To Kill a Mockingbird there is the scene where the sherrif weighs the pros and cons of telling anyone Arthur Radley had presence un the events that night. This makes Atticus (the protagonist) reconsider his original plan to take the matter up with the court in the morning. Since this is a Mind OS, the character builder has the quad with consider/pursuit as companion pair and pursuit/reconsider as dependant. So am I right to understand this scene illustrates these relationships in action. The Sherrif as consider (weighing pros and cons) and Atticus as pursuit (pursuing the story goal) but dependant now on taking elements of reconsider into his pursuit. Not sure I made sense, but trying to understand how to use the element quads in scenes.

Though there is no way to know of the author’s intent, that seems like a fair evaluation from a reception context. Nice observation.
