Heya, so I got to see Fast 8 last night, and call it a guilty pleasure, I really like the franchise.
But I was trying to figure out who was doing what character job wise.
The character DRIVING the story to me seemed to be Cypher, but then I was thinking about @jhull 's Bond discussion and wondering if she’s actually the Antagoinist trying to keep/re-establish her balliwick. Forgive the vaugeries, I’m trying not to drop spoilers for those that haven’t seen it yet.
I know Dom is the MC who’s motivation of family threads through the entire franchise, and while he is the one with the solution to the story problem – it’s really the team that is “pursuing” particularly Letty.
So what are other’s thoughts? Who’s doing which job OS and MC/IC
