Does that mean the following extrapolation is true?

I’d characterize genre as the purpose used in the effort to resolve a problem/inequity.
I’d characterize plot as the methodology used in the effort to resolve a problem/inequity.
I’d characterize theme as the evaluation used in the effort to resolve a problem/inequity.
I’d characterize character as the motivation used in the effort to resolve a problem/inequity.

Or, do I need to swap Purpose and Evaluation?
