Working through a storyform this morning, I have Attitude as a Catalyst. Catalyst used to speed things up, was thinking of shifting through manual gears. So for Activity I’ll use

indifferent to  
interested to  
involved to  
obsessed

and the Inhibitor is rationalization, which could be

deflection to  
an excuse to  
a justification  
a knowing lie

… (I know justification is a word already loaded, I’m going for levels of intensity avoiding retribution for ‘catering to your desires’ as the Dramatica Dictionary has it)
