Today, we’re releasing **Dramatica Live** —a new way to develop a story by talking it through in real time.

Instead of stopping to translate every creative thought into a form or field, you can have a live conversation grounded in Dramatica’s understanding of narrative structure. Explore an idea, test choices, clarify relationships, and keep moving while the story takes shape. I really believe this is a revolutionary way to develop a story.

Watch the first demo:

To use Dramatica Live, you’ll need a **[dramatica.com](http://dramatica.com) account**. Every subscriber gets free Live time to try it for themselves and see how it fits into their story-development process.

I’d love to hear what you discover. Give it a try and share your experience here. Thanks!

Just watched the video and it looks interesting. Personally, I rarely use the Live mode on Claude because I feel like I can organize/filter my thoughts better when typing, but I’m going to give this a try to see if taking off my filter yields anything different.

How does the Live feature impact token use?

You’ll probably find that it has less impact on your regular usage than you might expect.

The spoken conversation itself is handled separately through your Talk minutes. It doesn’t consume your normal Narrova or Story Guide usage.

If Talk to Dramatica needs to launch deeper reasoning or perform actions—the equivalent of the “Working” phase you see in Narrova or Story Guide—that portion counts toward your regular usage just as it would if you had requested it through text.

So, in short: the conversation uses Talk minutes; any deeper background work uses your normal allowance.
