# Two steadfast characters

I created a new storyform under an existing story and was playing around with some storyform changes. I have one that I like but I noticed in the character arcs page that both my MC and IC are Steadfast. I asked Narrova to change the IC to Change but it wasn’t successful. I also tried clearing out the storyform in the Storyform Builder and setting everything manually, but I’m still stuck with two steadfast characters.

Thanks for flagging this—and for thumbs-downing the conversation so I could trace it. This was a bug on our end: changing the Storyform could leave the Influence Character’s Resolve stuck on its previous value.

The fix is live across Narrova, Story Expert, and the Storyform Builder. Refresh the page, and your Sharper Storyform should now show **Main Character: Steadfast / Influence Character: Change**. Your existing writing is preserved.
