Actually, there was one thing that struck me as a kind of confirmation of Mark’s Mindset, beyond what jassnip posted. Those are all excellent, by the way!
That phone call that he makes after Eduardo freezes that account. Not only is that a gigantic example of the sources of conflict as Production in both the OS and MC Throughlines.
It’s also portrayed as Mark going crazy out of his mind. And, during that scene, he “reverts” to a very Linear episode: “If I don’t have money, then I can’t run the site, and it’ll go down. If there’s downtime, the users will leave, and if the users leave, we’ll lose all that I built.”
That this is shown as Mark being so out of his mind seems to me to be a sort of assertion that his preference is Holistic…
Edit: Plus the fact that his methods reminded me far more of Neo than of Luke…
