I imagine that, as long as a mind can conceivably follow the form, you theoretically have a proper argument being made. I don’t know at what resolution this breaks down, but I would imagine that it would be at the point that either the conflict is no longer connected to the source of conflict, or that the order of events can no longer conceivably be accurately determined.
