About the Story Development category

Use this category to share how the Dramatica Narrative Platform and Narrova help develop fun stories from first spark to finished scenes.

Story Development is for practical, creative work: building premises, shaping Storyforms, mapping Players, developing scenes, testing character dynamics, exploring Genre or Throughline ideas, and turning structural insight into something you can actually write, pitch, draw, or revise.

Good topics here might include:

  • experiments with Narrova or the Dramatica Narrative Platform while developing an original story
  • screenshots, prompts, or conversation excerpts that show a useful story-development workflow
  • questions about how to move from Storyform choices into characters, scenes, sequences, or visual materials
  • examples of using Dramatica structure to make a story more fun, specific, surprising, or emotionally clear

This is different from Dramatica Theory, which focuses on concepts, and Platform, which focuses on product feedback and feature discussion. Story Development is where the theory and the tools meet the blank page.
