What’s the difference between Setup and Revelation? I’m writing a memoir. I suspect that I am beyond the Setup stage because the characters, story questions and conflicts have been introduced in my life. There would still be conflict within the Setup Stage at the large story level.
I suppose the revelation of my mom’s illness as existing — had previously been attributed to other things — would be the Revelation stage.
I will have to figure out what the Conflict stage would be. It’s not so apparent because she is dead.
I also am pretty clear on the Aftermath being when these issues become resolved.
