Trusting that we won’t experience our own “failure to communicate”, tonight’s analysis of Cool Hand Luke will be streamed online for anyone who wants to participate but can’t make it to Burbank. You used to have sign up to be invited, but I think I’ll leave it public for now and just bounce anyone who disrupts the conversation.

For reference, the Dramatica Users Group YouTube channel, though because Google keeps screwing around with Hangouts, you won’t find some videos there.

I hope I can sit in, and I wish I had seen the movie more recently. What time is it taking place? The Google page fails to give a time zone, and I know yours isn’t the same as mine.

7pm Pacific time…although we usually start about 10-15 minutes later.

OK. So the time Google gave me was for my time zone (EDT). Good to know.

Thanks. If the movie were on Netflix, I’d try to watch it again beforehand. I doubt it is, so I’ll have to settle for the Wikipedia plot summary to jog my memory.

Actually, the shooting script is on the Web, easily Googlable, for anyone who, like me, needs a refresher on the film.

It’ll just be the podcast audio only unfortunately. The film is still playing now. Check back in 20 minutes and I might have it up

Oh, well. I guess I’ll just watch some old ones instead. At least now I’ll have time to watch the film again.
