it’s as weird and great as Jim said. Maybe even more so.
I never watched much x-files, because I always thought its long arcs were nonsense and, besides, I vastly prefer episodic television. This is a great standalone episode. Could easily have become a two hour feature film.
And if you listen to the dialogue, you’ll know the PSR quad you’re in on the IC throughline because it pretty explicitly states it.
