Wait… are you saying five million years of evolution was a waste of time and we’re right back where we started?! 
I mean, considering the research you linked — those capuchin monkeys literally throwing cucumbers when their neighbor got grapes for the same task — maybe we haven’t evolved as far as we think. Just upgraded the tools of protest: fewer cucumbers, more comment sections.
