New to the theory/software... is this weird?

Can’t upload my screenshot of my build characters area, but I’ve been looking through the theory book and my Motivation arrangement seems… odd. It works for my story, but from my initial take on the theory it’s unusual?

Upper left quad… | Upper right quad
Consider…Logic…| Pursuit…Control [<-Pursuit has a superscript in red of “IC Crucial”]
(Protag-MC) (Reason)…| (Protag-MC)… (Reason)

Feeling…Reconsider…| Uncontrolled… Avoidance [<-Avoidance has a superscript in red of “MC Crucial”]
(Emotion)… (Antag)…| (Emotion)… (Antag)

Lower left quad…| Lower right quad
Faith …Conscience…| Support …Help
(Sidekick) (Guardian) …| (Sidekick… Guardian)

Temptation Disbelief…| Hinder… Oppose
(Contag) …(Skeptic-IC)…| (Contag) …(Skeptic-IC)

Can anyone help me unpack this? One thing I’m wondering about is the decision drivers are listed before the action drivers. [Relationships that may be relevant, is sidekick is guardian’s daughter, and reason is protagonist’s close buddy.] I also have ten other characters, that don’t fit into archetypes. How do I fill them out when there’s no room for them in the build character charts… /help

What Domain is your OS? If it’s not Activity, then the arrangement won’t match what you see in the theory book.

My OS throughline is activity. obtaining.

That is what my window looks like too. (I hadn’t checked before.) Why does this seem odd to you?

Regarding the multiple additional characters who aren’t the archetypal characters.

Considering that you do have archetypal characters in your story - all your bases are covered in that respect. I have spread the same characteristics amongst your remaining characters so that they double up to some extent.

I would look to have your additional characters set up as “complex characters” so they they work differently from the archetypal characters you have set up. Otherwise you may run into the issue of your characters feeling and acting the same - and thereby becoming redundant.

Also, I have tried to ensure that characters who have the share the same characteristic share as few joint scenes as possible otherwise you get the similar situation of one of the characters feeling redundant.
