Uh oh. I was listening to the latest Narrative First podcast where @jhull beats himself up about always saying “you know”. I’d never noticed that on the podcast, so I began to wonder if his mentoring might have already affected me…
Did a search in Scrivener on the scene I just finished. Apparently his ability to help you understand the secrets behind narrative and apply it to your own stories comes at a terrible cost – he’s infecting my characters’ dialogue:
