What do the numbers in Dramatica's Step Creation table stand for?

In the StoryGuide part of Dramatica Story Expert, the Step Creation window lists a bunch of “steps” or scene descriptions in the first column on the left. The second- and third-most columns, at the bottom, generally look like this:

My question: What do the parenthesized numbers in the second column stand for/refer to?

For example, what does “(4)” mean in “Approach – Do-er (4)”? And where in the Dramatica archives would I find more guidance about this? Thanks.

It just refers to the number of times you’ve ‘checked’ them into your steps. So, here, you’ve got 3 steps that you have deemed to be related in some way to the MC Resolve, 4 that relate to the MC Approach, etc.
