2-D Depiction of Theme Chart

I have always loved this layout of the Dramatica theme chart that I picked up years ago. But it is small and doesn’t print well. Before I reconstruct it, does anybody already have a bigger version of this lying around that I can have?

@MWollaeger . Thats a really useful image you have there. Your new construct will be most appreciated. Many thanks.

We got it from Rod Jones, if that helps. I think my email attachment was that resolution, too. I’ll check when I get home. He’s a member of the group, but he hasn’t posted for awhile. Maybe, message? I have an old email address at home. He would have sent me a better resolution if I had asked, I’m sure.

Rod Jones! That explains why it’s called the “Rod Dramatica Model.jpg” on my computer. I am not familiar with him, I don’t think we’ve crossed paths.

If you can reach out to him, that would be amazing. Recreating it will be relatively easy, but time consuming.

@Rod maybe he will get this message…

For some reason, I thought Rod Jones was a pre-2010 guy that had since vanished.

By the way @Rod, I love this representation!

How about this?

They all come up with great resolution on my phone. Good find!

The idea that there is a “Hull” version makes me so happy

It also makes me want to drop everything and build the ability to see these more accurate elements everywhere!

Rejection and Free forever!

Rod Jones took part in our Man for All Seasons analysis, a little while ago. Way in the dram-list past, he, also, gave us a previous work up of dram concepts he fiddled with, via jpg image, which we could download. That’s most likely why.

Danke schön. Aber natürlich, diese können nicht heruntergeladen werden. Ich will etwas, das ich drucken kann…

what format? each class individually?

Jpg or psd would be amazing, the whole chart. Just the original terms. (Sorry Jim.) If I should be able to do this from the link, then I just don’t know how.

And unlike images, they are searchable.

Hmmm…maybe that chart of way back when was a pdf. I’ll dig out some old backup drives and see if It’s survived. I went on a delete for space without knowing what I was doing.

Worked some PS magic and it’s not perfect but large enough to print letter size.

Does this work? I clicked on the chart with my macbook pro trackpad and got a choice to print. When I printed, I chose make pdf, instead. The resolution looked decent.

2D Chart (Hull Terms).pdf (75.0 KB)
2D Chart (Default Terms).pdf (75.1 KB)
2D Chart (Layman’s Terms).pdf (75.4 KB)

I am strictly a “Hull man”.

@jhull

Yes, it was me. I created it years ago. Here’s the PDF version. I also have the editable PSD but this board won’t let me upload it. Here’s the full resolution PDF:

DramaticaModel.pdf (3.0 MB)

Also, here’s the full resolution JPG:
