Story Outcome - MC or All Characters?

Does the Story Outcome refer to the Main Character’s Success/Failure of achieving the Goal or that of all characters’ pursuits of the Goal?

The Story Outcome refers to whether or not the Story Goal was achieved. This is a Goal pursued and considered by the Protagonist. Usually, one group of characters “takes” the side of the Protagonist, while another group sides with the Antagonist.

When the Protagonist succeeds, the group on his or her side also succeed.

The Protagonist may or may not be the Main Character.
