The Subjective and Objective view of story

Hello everyone,

Recently I’ve been thinking a lot about the objective, authorial view of story vs the subjective, in character view and if the objective story characters can be viewed from a subjective standpoint.

This actually seems to be what lies at the heart of what separates the different story paradimes from Dramatica - Objective vs Subjective, intention vs expression.

Sorry if I’m completely butchering this here but taking the example of Motivation of Pursuit. Isn’t it only seen as pursuit in relation to the objective story goal, would this then be the objective view of seeing the Motivational Element and does the mere fact of encoding a story point render it subjective and how would that fit in to the MC, IC AND RS Throughlines (which are normaly seen as subjective points of view)? And isn’t that therefore under the preview of storytelling or am I missing something here, the fact that something then is subjective, having been story told, encoded, does that make it subjective?
