Great example of Conceptualizing

Conceiving: Let’s do a Star Trek series!
Conceptualizing: well, it should look like this, and these things should happen in the episodes, and these characters should change like this, and these people should play the roles, and the costumes should look like this…

Looks to me like conceptualizing is harder, more detailed and takes a lot more time and organization than conceiving does

A lot of conceiving happened during that conceptualizing, I’m sure. There’s a reason they are a dynamic pair.

Could one say that conceiving is coming up with the storyform while conceptualizing is storyweaving?

That’s easy to say if you have an idea. Not so easy if you’re on the other side of the problem trying to come up with the ‘right’ idea.
