It makes sense to me if I say, use active story telling scenes to invoke changes in the nature of the characters situation, activity, attitude and manner of thinking

I’m not sure there is a working example yet. It would be difficult to come up with one off the cuff as these kinds of scenes are frivolous in terms of the meaning of the story – the part that lasts with you months or years later.
