Here is an approach how you can use your mobile device to build the story basics.
To collect the details and build the story I use a simple form. Once I have access to Dramatica I add the signposts.
The form helps me in the first place to
- focus on the individual story throughlines
- don’t mix the events and keep the throughlines separate
- having a reminder to follow cause and effect and understand how a Signpost causes the next Signpost
- prove the argument of the story

The form has five pages: One page with basic information for the story, four pages for the four different throughlines. More pages could be added for more details e.g. for Goal, Central Conflict, Function of Archetyps…
I using Form Maker on the iPad to build and run the form. There is an option to import the Form as XML into Form Maker as well.
