English in StoryGuide?

Hi, I’m new to Dramatica Pro and I’m wondering if I can fill in the answers to the questions in StoryGuide in my native language Danish or do I have to use English?

Welcome to the community! Great to have you here.

If you’ve upgraded to the newest version of Dramatica—what we’re currently calling Subtxt/Dramatica—you absolutely can write your answers in any language you prefer. Muse can instantly translate and help you fully develop your story entirely in Danish. In fact, many writers already do this!

You can learn more about using Muse with different languages in our guide here: Multilingual Support

Feel free to reach out anytime if you have more questions—happy storytelling!

No, I don’t have Subtxt/Dramatica, I have Dramatica Pro for Windows…so I need to write my answers in English, right?

For that, I would assume you can write them in any language. You’re the only one “reading” them, so I’m not sure if it would make a difference either way.

When I use the Dramatica software (also on Windows), I sometimes write the explanations in Spanish. Nothing limits you on the language you use, since there is no text recognition. What you type is there for you. The interface is in English, but the content can be anything you want. You can even use non-Latin alphabets and nothing crashes.
